Hibbard House Inn was built in 1822 by Harry Hibbard . He was a prominent lawyer in the town of Bath. He was good friends with Franklin Pierce who stayed at the Inn. It is told that the house is haunted. Some have heard voices or doors slamming or the pitter patter of dogs feet on the floor. People have even seen ghosts move things.
We bought the Hibbard House Inn 3 years ago and have been open just a short while. We have been renovating the Inn, inside and out for your convenience. We have also done extensive work in the gardens for your enjoyment.
